oh what do i know, what about idaho? arent there a bunch of dying cities back east? west/northwest would be a friendlier place...south america has precious places and less zoning laws. good luck, send me directions when you finish it...

One of the challenges, as with any start-up business is working out the business logistics. There are many projects out there, and we're doing well in marketing and sales. It's obvious to us that using a non-profit model isn't an effective way of changing business models. So, we're doing our best to create a market for our services, and so far it's working well.

On a personal level I'm compelled to figure out how community empowerment and innovative sustainable design can merge to tackle problems of environmental injustice and environmental racism. I would love to talk to anyone about this.

Wed, April 20, 2005 - 4:14 PMi'm heading down to mexico (nr p vallarta) to scout out some family property and additional parcels in order to start an eco-guesthouse as an alternative to big-ass cheesy gringotels in the area. I'll be incorporating as many sustainable building methods that makes sense in the area. its tricky down there with available materials, weather conditions and qualified green architects...
Its all in its infancy but hoping to start designing this summer and start building the first room next winter...
